Description	:	Everett Philip Aulenback 1989 Bridgewater Bulletin Wileville- Everett Philip Aulenback, 73, passed away suddenly on August 16, 1989, at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Although he had not been in good health for the past number of years, his sudden passing was an unexpected shock to his family and friends. Born in Bridgewater, he was the son of the late Morris and Rose (Weagle) Aulenback. Everett was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, enlisting in the Princess Louise Fusiliers in June, 1940. Born in Bridgewater, he was the son of the late Morris and Rose (Weagle) Aulenback. Everett was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, enlisting in the Princess Louise Fusiliers in June, 1940. He served in Canada, Continental Europe, United Kingdom, and the Central Mediterranean Area. He was discharged in February, 1946. He again enlisted in January, 1952, serving in Canada and the Far East. He was awarded in respect of service during these wars with the 1939-45 Star; Italy Star; France and Germany Star; Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp; Korea Medal; and the United Nations Service Medal. He remained in the Canadian Armed Forces based in Kingston,Ontario, until his retirement in 1966, when he was honourably released. "He served his country to keep us free." "Dad" will be sadly missed by wife, Jean, the former Jean Crouse; two daughters, Tracy ,at home; June (Mitty) (Mrs. Michael Weagle), Auburndale; a son, Brian, West Clifford; and one grandchild,Jason. He was predeceased by six brothers, Eldrich, Victor, Randall, Cyril, Fred, and Gordon; six sisters, Elva, Nellie, Bessie, Helen, Violet, and Lottie. The body rested at R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville. Funeral service was held on Friday, August 18, 1989 ,at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Bridgewater, Rev. Willis Ott officiating.
