He was born December 12, 1915 in Minot to Andrew and Bessie Ford. He was raised and educated in Minot and graduated from Minot High School. He attended Minot State Teachers College for one and a half years and entered the United States Army. He received an early discharge because of an ear injury. Read More	Everett Ford December 12, 1915 to July 5, 1996 Everett Roland Ford, 80, Minot, died Friday, July 5, 1996 in his home of natural causes. He was born December 12, 1915 in Minot to Andrew and Bessie Ford. He was raised and educated in Minot and graduated from Minot High School. He attended Minot State Teachers College for one and a half years and entered the United States Army. He received an early discharge because of an ear injury. He then worked for the Great Northern Railway, and later the Burlington Northern Railroad. He worked as a telegrapher and station master at various locations in the state before moving to Minot in 1957, where he worked at the depot. He later became a dispatcher at Gavin Yard. He retired in 1978. He married Eva Enget in Powers Lake on December 22, 1941. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Minot, and an usher there for many years. He was active for many years in the Star of th East #33 Masonic Lodge, and served a term as Worshipful Master. After retirement, he was active in the Golden "K" Kiwanis of Minot. Survivors: wife, Minot; sons: Ray, Houston, Texas, Robert, Silverdale, Wash; Daughter: Elaine Newman, Houston, Texas; six grandchildren; one great granddaughter; sisters, Clarice Roland, Billings, Mont., Alice Klanderman, Baldwin, Wis. Funeral Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Zion Lutheran Church, Minot with burial in the Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot. Visitation at Thompson Larson Funeral Home.
