Description	:	Everett T. Foster, 91, of 703 E. 8th St. S., died of a stroke Tuesday, Sept. 2, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton. Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton. The body will be cremated following the service. Memorials will be accepted to Skiff Medical Center and may be left at the funeral home. The son of Benjamin and Harriet (Ponder) Foster, he was born Aug. 11, 1912, in Kellogg. He attended Kellogg schools. On Jan. 1, 1948, he married Dorothy Fick in Des Moines. He was a retired farmer and enjoyed woodworking and gardening. He lived in Baxter from 1948 to 1975, when he became a resident of Newton. Survivors include his wife; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charlie and Anita Foster of Fordland, Mo., and Roger and Jennifer Foster of Dow City; two daughters and a son-in-law, Clara Foster of Newton and Rosemary and Kim McKeever of Urbandale; five grandchildren; and a sister, Gertrude Jaimel of Denver, Colo. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Inola Foster, Ruth Wilson and Grace Muntz; and a brother, Clarence Foster. The Newton (IA) Daily News, Thursday, September 4, 2003
