Description	:	REINSCH, EVERNA—Everna Reinsch was born September 26, 1917, near Tobias to Lena Pfingston Mussman and August J. Mussman. She was baptized March 19, 1918, and confirmed May 15, 1932 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ohiowa. She married Edward N. Reinsch at York on July 24, 1940. Read More	REINSCH, EVERNA—Everna Reinsch was born September 26, 1917, near Tobias to Lena Pfingston Mussman and August J. Mussman. She was baptized March 19, 1918, and confirmed May 15, 1932 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ohiowa. She married Edward N. Reinsch at York on July 24, 1940. Eddie and Everna made their living farming southwest of Geneva where they raised their two children, Cynthia and Richard. Everna was a hard and tireless worker, helping with the farm work, raising her family, tilling a large garden. She was a marvel in the kitchen, and her nine day sweet pickles are legendary. In 1965, they purchased Eddies 66 Service in Geneva and moved to the home nearby where they continued to live until Eddie’s death on January 17, 1986 and Everna’s stroke on January 5, 2001. On February 7, 2001, Everna moved to Heritage Crossings where she resided until her death. Everna’s hobbies included gardening, reading, and counted cross-stitch. Many of her cross-stitch pieces adorned the walls of her room at Heritage. Everna was a charter member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Geneva and a member of the Ladies Aid. She was a special loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who cherished her family and will be greatly missed by them. She is survived by a daughter, and son-in-law, Cynthia and Donn McCashland; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Becky Reinsch; grandchildren, Scott (Cindy) McCashland; Vicki (Vaughn) Duncan and Cindi (Brent) Bjorkman, Tracy Reinsch, Betsy (Paul) Anderson; and Susan (Brent) Carroll; great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Jordan Duncan; Michael, Mitchell, Kyle McCashland; Megan, Annika, and Austin Bjorkman; sisters, Lucille Schrock (Don) and Josie Rigby, many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Edward, who passed away January 17, 1986; sisters, Hazel Mussman, Irene Archer, Stella Bredemeier, Lillie Gewecke, and Elsie Schulte. Funeral services were conducted from the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church on January 23, with Pastor Chris Lake officiating. Nancy Jo Galusha accompanied David Reinsch, who sang “The Lord’s Prayer” and “How Great Thou Art.” Casket bearers were Ron Bredemeier, Duane Schrock, Larry Rigby, Dale Rigby, Dale Stengel, Gary Reinsch and Rodger Anderson. Interment was in the Geneva Public Cemetery. The Nebraska Signal January 30th, 2008 page 12.
