Obituary: "Evon Garlington Barnes, 80 of Fordyce, died Thursday, March 31, 2005. She was born December 5, 1924 to the late Steve and Tommie McGriff Garlington. She was preceded in death by her husband Doyle Barnes.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dorla and Clinton Rauls of Rison; three grandchildren and their spouses, Robyn and Ken Collums of Conway, Rhonda and Scott Robnett of Rison, and Russ and Tenille Rauls of Little Rock; five great grandchildren, Anna and Layne Collums, Abigail and Brady Robnett, and Lexi Rauls; and two brothers, Leon Garlington, Sr. of Fordyce, and Jackie D. Garlington of Tinsman.She was also preceded in death by her son, Tommy D. Barnes and two brothers, J.C. Garlington and Steve Garlington, Jr.Funeral services will be Monday at 10 AM at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial at Barnes Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5 PM till 8 PM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce." Read less
