Description	:	OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN) - Monday, March 4, 1901 Sunday morning at ten o'clock occurred the death of Ezra G. Brewer, at the home of his son, Joe Brewer, near Lagro. Mr. Brewer had been afflicted with asthma for the last fifty six years and that disease, with a complication of others was the cause of his death. At the age of seventeen Mr. Brewer contracted asthma and since that time has been a sufferer with that disease. Mr. Brewer had been afflicted with asthma for the last fifty six years and that disease, with a complication of others was the cause of his death. At the age of seventeen Mr. Brewer contracted asthma and since that time has been a sufferer with that disease. For the past twenty-five years he had been unable to lie down and it had been necessary for him to remain in an upright posture when he slept. The deceased was born in Ohio in the year 1837 and when two years old came to this city with his parents, where they located. Since the year 1839 Mr. Brewer had been a resident of Wabash County, except for a brief time between the years 1875 and 1880, when he lived in Miami County. In 1857 he was married to Miss Margaret Launder. To them eleven children were born, nine of whom survive. They are Edward, William, Joseph, Ezra, Charles and James Brewer and Mrs. Berry, of Benton Harbor, and Miss Jessie Brewer. Mr. Brewer had acted as justice of the peace for a few years until last year, when it was necessary for him to resign because of his failing health. The funeral will occur Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock form the Presbyterain Church, Rev. Charles Little officiating. #Interment in Falls Cemetery.
