Dubuque Telegraph Herald April 28, 1932 Hopkinton--Ezra Clark, who for the past 12 years operated a farm three miles south of Hopkinton, died at the state hospital at Independence Wednesday, April 27. Mr. Clark had been in failing health for several months, the decline of his health dating back to a time when he received an injury when he was kicked by a horse. Before coming to Hopkinton, Mr. Clark spent most of his life in Cedar Rapids, being engaged in the horse shipping business. Funeral services were held under the auspices of the Masonic lodge on Friday afternoon in the Presbyterian church. The Rev. D.S. deBest, pastor of the church, in charge of the services.
