Description	:	"Mac" McDonaldson, 75, of Harrisonburg, passed on Friday, October 28th 2005 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg. He was born in Rockingham Co., VA on March 17, 1930, and was a son of the late John B. McDonaldson and Myrtle Rogers McDonaldson Knicley. Mr. McDonaldson is a retired truck driver from Dayton Transport, and was the North American truck driver of the year in 1980 and received the key to the city in Toronto, Canada. He was born in Rockingham Co., VA on March 17, 1930, and was a son of the late John B. McDonaldson and Myrtle Rogers McDonaldson Knicley. Mr. McDonaldson is a retired truck driver from Dayton Transport, and was the North American truck driver of the year in 1980 and received the key to the city in Toronto, Canada. He was united in marriage on December 24, 1948, to Margaret (Shifflett) McDonaldson, who preceded him in death on December 29, 2000. He is survived by three sons, Gary of Hinton, Franklin of Mississippi, and Rickey of McGaheysville; two daughters, Sandra Mohler and Brenda Ritchie, both of Harrisonburg; one brother John B. McDonaldson of Dayton; special friends Dennie & Karen Simmers both of Broadway. 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren also survive. A funeral service will conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 31, 2005 at the Johnson Funeral Service Chapel in Bridgewater, with Rev. Daniel Smucker and Pastor Wendell L. "Sonny" Henkel officiating. Burial will follow at Woodbine Cemetery in Harrisonburg. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 30, 2005 at the Johnson Funeral Service in Bridgewater from 7:00 to 8:00 PM and anytime at the home of his daughter, Brenda Ritchie, 121 Stoneleigh Drive, Harrisonburg.
