Description	:	F. Louise Lare, age 90, of Creagerstown, died unexpectedly after a brief illness Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born June 27, 1927 in Creagerstown, she was the daughter of the late W. Russell Seiss and Flora Mae Holland Seiss. She was the wife of H. Eugene Lare who died in 1987. Mrs. Lare was a 1944 graduate of Thurmont High School. She and her husband had been dairy farmers and Louise was an accomplished seamstress. She also worked for 31 years as a baker. Born June 27, 1927 in Creagerstown, she was the daughter of the late W. Russell Seiss and Flora Mae Holland Seiss. She was the wife of H. Eugene Lare who died in 1987. Mrs. Lare was a 1944 graduate of Thurmont High School. She and her husband had been dairy farmers and Louise was an accomplished seamstress. She also worked for 31 years as a baker. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and baking, especially doughnuts, sticky buns and rolls. She previously bowled with the Wednesday Ladies Team in Walkersville. She was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Creagerstown where she was a member of the Faithful Workers. She was a former member of The Grange. Surviving are children, Regina Dinterman and husband Bill of Rocky Ridge; Bonnie Baust and husband Bruce of Thurmont and Dwayne Lare and wife Natalia of Urbana; grandchildren, Philip, Emily, Lydia, Colleen, George and Sophia; great grandchildren, Emmett and Alden and numerous faithful friends and family. She was predeceased by brothers, Ray and Leo Seiss. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 26 at St. John's Lutheran Church with Rev. Dahl Drenning, officiating. Interment will follow in Creagerstown Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 25 at the church and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or to Creagerstown Cemetery, 8619 Blacks Mill Rd., Thurmont, MD 21788.
