Read More	Perry Cannon, age 86, resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas, was born to Eugene Knox and Mamie Honnell Cannon at Lockesburg, Arkansas, on November 16, 1918, and departed this life Monday, October 31, 2005, after having attained the age of 86 years, 11 months, and 15 days. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U. S. Navy, and was a retired truck driver having driven for Gray's Butane and Bruce Kennedy. He attended the United Methodist Church at Lockesburg for 26 years, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and mowing the yard. He took pride in his yard, and was happy to receive the Yard of the Month Award. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Emmett, Martin, Curtis, and John Cannon, his sisters, Flossie Brown, and Fannie Friday, and his wives, Dora Lee Snow Cannon in 1969, and Flora Brackett Cannon in 2000. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Glen "Bub" and Joyce Cannon of Lockesburg, Charles and Martha Cannon of Hot Springs, two daughters and sons-in-law, Perrylene and Thomas Sneed of Horatio, and Donnie and Larry Bradshaw of De Queen, one step-son, Jerry Brackett of Lockesburg, two step-daughters, Barbara Friday of Lockesburg, and Charlene Revels of Hico, Texas; 22 grandchildren, a number of great- grandchildren, and 7 great-great- grandchildren, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m, Thrusday, November 3, 2005 in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Lockesburg with Rev. Wesley Blankenship officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m, Wednesday, Oct. 2nd. US Cemetery and Funeral Home Collection
