Faith Ann was born near Columbia Falls, the youngest of 10 children born to Leonard and Laura Seville, on Oct. 12,1931. She was raised in Coram. Faith married Elwood "Bub" Newman on Aug. 14,1948. Faith Ann was born near Columbia Falls, the youngest of 10 children born to Leonard and Laura Seville, on Oct. 12,1931. She was raised in Coram. Faith married Elwood "Bub" Newman on Aug. 14,1948. They had three children, Thomas, Larry and Edward. Faith attended school in Columbia Falls. She worked a number of years as a waitress, bartender, construction worker and as a baker and server in the hot lunch program in Columbia Falls schools. She loved her family, camping, fishing, bowling, traveling and having lunch with the hot lunch bunch. She loved baking for and serving the students in the Columbia Falls school system and went to many of their sporting events. Faith was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Laura Seville; her spouse, E.T. "Bub" Newman; and her siblings, Erma Owings, Florence Sawby, Elinor Walter, Leonard Seville, Pete Seville, Mary Cady and Bob Seville. She is survived by her son, Thomas, and wife, Lynde Newman, of Columbia Falls; son, Larry, and wife, Gwen Newman, of Gold Bar, Wash.; son, Dr. Edward, and wife, Kimberly Newman, of Helena; sister, Edna Ridenour, of Lake Five; and brother, Fred Seville, of Homer, Alaska; grandchildren, Tresha, Jessica, Rachel, Melissa, Laura, Kyle and Jared; great-grandchildren, Garrett, Allie, Olive, Abram, Danika and MaKenna; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on May 10 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia Falls, with a reception following at the Senior Center in Columbia Falls. All friends and family are invited. Please join the family in celebrating the life of Faith Ann Newman. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donating to hospice. Buffalo Hill Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for the family.
