RESUSCITATION ATTEMPTED According to reports received here of the accident, young Franchard was discovered and removed from the stifling mass of cottonseed within a short time after the accident occurred. Efforts to revive him by means of artificial respiration that were carried on over an hour were futile however. FOUND BY FATHER The boy's father was reported to have seen him at play 15 or 20 minutes before the body was discovered. Mr. Swofford was said to have missed the youth at the end of this time and to have begun looking for him. He found the youth, his feet sticking out, buried under the large pile of cottonseed that had in some manner toppled over on him. Funeral services for young Swofford will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Grassy Pond church with the Rev. J.J. Boone officiating. The youth is survived by his parents.
