She died Thursday in a Parkston hospital. Born Nov. 24, 1883, in Germany, Mrs. Asche came to the United States in 1903, settling at Scotland in 1904. She was married in 1908 to Ward Asche. They farmed north of Scotland before moving into town many years ago. Survivors are the widower; two daughters, Mrs. Henry Zweifel, Olivet, and Mrs. Harold Bjorum, Menno, one son, Walter, at home, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
