Read More	Fay Ellen Farley - Posted November 08, 2001 Chelan Fay Ellen Farley, 74, a 55-year resident of Chelan, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2001, following a two-year struggle with cancer. She was born Dec. 2, 1926 at Wenatchee, the daughter of Jess and Hilda (Franklin) Patty. She attended grade school in the Colockum, junior high school in Wenatchee and was graduated from Pilot Rock High School in Oregon. She then attended Oregon State College for a year. On Aug. 1, 1948, she was married to Ted Farley at Ephrata. Following their marriage, they made their home at Chelan. She was employed in the dental office of Dr. Doug Dewar and later employed with Lake Chelan Fruit Growers. For a time, she was employed with the Lake Chelan Clinic. For about 20 years, she was employed at Lake Chelan Community Hospital and was serving as office manager at the time of her retirement in 1982. She was a member of the Lake Chelan Golf Club and made a hole in one on the 18th hole; she was a member of the Chelan Eagles Auxiliary, enjoyed playing bridge and quilting. Survivors include her husband, Ted of the home; a son, Joe of Wenatchee; a daughter, Meg Konvalin of Moses Lake; a sister, Maryann Pattison of Wenatchee; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Commemoration Services will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 10, 2001 at 11 a.m. from North Shore Bible Church with the Reverend Frank Needles officiating. Private interment was at Fraternal Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Wenatchee Valley Humane Society or Lake Chelan Community Hospital--Home Health. Friends are invited to join the family for a time of sharing at the Chelan Eagles at 1 p.m. Services are under the direction of Precht Rose Chapel, Chelan.
