Description	:	WESTERNPORT — Fay Hill, 90, formerly of Shady Lane, Westernport, and most recently of Heartland of Keyser Nursing Home, Keyser, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008, at the nursing home. Born April 1, 1918, in Barton, she was the daughter of the late David S. and Eliza (Langham) Boal. Her first husband, Samuel Berry; her second husband, Alan Hill; four brothers, Thomas Wayne, Harold, Alwyn and Ellsworth Boal; and two sisters, Doris Peyton and Jean Warnick, also preceded her in death. Born April 1, 1918, in Barton, she was the daughter of the late David S. and Eliza (Langham) Boal. Her first husband, Samuel Berry; her second husband, Alan Hill; four brothers, Thomas Wayne, Harold, Alwyn and Ellsworth Boal; and two sisters, Doris Peyton and Jean Warnick, also preceded her in death. Mrs. Hill was a graduate of Barton High School. In her early years she operated a dress shop in Westernport and sold insurance for the former Berry Agency in Barton. She was formerly a mortician also, having been associated with Boal Funeral Home. Mrs. Hill was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Piedmont, W.Va., where she participated in the Aurora Derham Bible Class. She was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star, Barton, a former member of Kelly Mansfield Post 52 Ladies Auxiliary, Piedmont, a member and Past Pocahontas of Petunia Council 10, Westernport, and a Past Great Pocahontas for the Great Council of Maryland. She leaves behind a son, Samuel Berry and wife Kathy of Churchton; a granddaughter, Beth Walters and husband Drew of Damascus; and a great-grandson, Mason; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Wed-nesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John Park officiating. Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport. Pallbearers will be Bill Kenny, Jim Savage, Bill Zais, Bob Boal, Jared Zais, Royce Warnick and Nick Zais.
