Description	:	Faye was raised on a farm ner the PLatte River. She rode horses to her country one-room school, where her mother was the teacher, and her brother Charles was a fellow student. She was graduated from the Columbus, Nebraska High School in 1956, and from Nebraska Methodist Hospital Nursing Program in Omaha in 1959. In 1962 she married Lynn L. Sorensen of Omaha, Nebraska. She was graduated from the Columbus, Nebraska High School in 1956, and from Nebraska Methodist Hospital Nursing Program in Omaha in 1959. In 1962 she married Lynn L. Sorensen of Omaha, Nebraska. Their two sons were Eric (1964) and Todd (1967). In 1959 Faye began her nusrsing career at Methodst Hospital in Omaha, where she soon became the seventh floor charge nurse. In 1975 she became the Director of Nurses at Memorial Hospital in Broken Bow, Nebraska. In 1983 she was graducated from the University of Nebraska/Omaha Bachelor of Schience in Nursing (BSN). In in 1985 she movewd to El Centro, Californai to work and continue her education. In 1990 she was graduated from the University of Michigan with a Master of Science in Administgration (MSA). In about 1995 she moved back to Omaha to work at the University of Nebraka Medical College, in the Cardiac Center. She retired from that postion in 2013. She is survived by her sons Eric (wife Patrice) and Todd (wife Carol), and grandchildren Teresa (husband Josh), Isaac, and Avery. She was preceded in death by her parents and her former husband Lynn L. Sorensen. She was buried November 5, 2019 after November 4th serves at Celebration Covenant Church in Omaha, Nebraska, and by her brother Charles and his wife Mary Ann.
