Description	:	Faye (Julia Faye) Smith Sexton, age 99, of Billings, passed away May 1, 2014. She was a long time resident at Eagle Cliff Manor. Faye was born Aug. 14, 1914, at Beehive, Mont., the daughter of Sherman and Josie (Hawks) Smith. She attended school in Absarokee, Mont., graduating from Absarokee High School in 1933. She was a long time resident at Eagle Cliff Manor. Faye was born Aug. 14, 1914, at Beehive, Mont., the daughter of Sherman and Josie (Hawks) Smith. She attended school in Absarokee, Mont., graduating from Absarokee High School in 1933. Faye married William P. (Bill) Sexton on Nov. 15, 1936, in Greybull, Wyo. They lived in the Billings area most of their life. William passed away Sept. 2, 2010. Faye worked for many years at the JC Penney store on North Broadway, making many life long friends during that time. She was a skilled seamstress and enjoyed a number of crafts. Faye was constantly delighted by and interested in the lives of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and an extended family who often, in her later years, took her for rides for ice cream, included her for Holidays and other activities at their homes. Survivors include her son, Ronald (Marilynn) Sexton of Billings; and daughter, Bonnie (Steven) Lundin of Yuma, Ariz.; along with six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Faye had special relationships with a niece, Kaye Jacobson, granddaughter, Laurie Maddock, friend, Karin Bloomenrader, and Marsha and Wayne Woodward. Faye was preceded in death by her husband; two sisters, Annabell Jacobson and Beulah Porter; and grand-daughter Thea Lundin. A Memorial Service will be held at Eagle Cliff Manor, 1415 Yellowstone River Road, Billings, Thursday, May 8, at 10 a.m. Memorials may be sent to Rocky Mountain Hospice or a charity of your choice. Cremation has taken place. There will be a private interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens at a later date. Arrangements are by Cremation & Funeral Gallery.
