She died Feb. 1, 1981, at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison, having attained the age of 75 years. Faye was raised at Auburn and graduated from the Auburn High School. On Sept. 17, 1936, Faye was united in marriage with Lynn Walker at Lincoln, Neb. They made their home in Lincoln for a year before moving to Denison in 1937, where Mr. Walker operated a Allis Chalmers Dealership for many years. Lynn preceded Faye in death March 19, 1964, and she continued to make Denison her home. After her husband's death, Faye was employed with the J. C. Penney Company in Denison. Most recently she was very active at the Denison Senior Center. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Denison, the Sylvan Chapter 207, OES Denison, White Shrine, American Legion Auxiliary, Crawford County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Federation of Women's Club and the Denison Wa-Tan-Ye Club. Including her husband and parents Faye was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. She is survived by one daughter, Bonnie, Mrs. Bertrand Gulick III, of Farmingdale, N.Y.; one stepson, Charles L. Walker of Denison; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Feb. 3 at the Maxwell Funeral Home in Denison, with the Rev. James D. Cobb officiating. Burial was in the Crawford Heights Memory Gardens in Denison.
