He had been in the David City Hospital for two weeks following a heart attack and died suddenly Nov. 12, as he was preparing to go home. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Kopecky offered the requiem High Mass. Music was sung by the church choir with Mrs. J. G. Miratsky, organist. Pallbearers were James Samek, Lee Yindrick, Louis Yindrick, Fred Samek, John Svoboda and Theodore Rerucha. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Yindrick, son of Joseph and Anna Kozisek Yindrick, was born on a farm near Bruno, August 30, 1882. His wife, Rose Samek, and infant daughter, Marie, died in August, 1912, leaving him with three small children. In 1914 he married Marie Torpi. One son Ernest, was born to them. Mr. Yindrick lived on the same farm west of Bruno until retiring and moving to Bruno. He was a director on the board of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church for many years and was Butler County supervisor from his district for twelve years. Preceding him in death besides his first wife and daughter were his father and a brother Joseph. His is survived by his wife, Marie, two sons, Charles and Ernest and two daughters, Mrs. Henry (Emma) Rerucha and Mrs. John (Martha) Kucera, all of Bruno; his aged mother, Mrs. Anna Yindrick, 96, two brothers, William and Edward F. and sister, Mrs. Ray (Helen) Rerucha, all of David City. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Those coming from a distance to attend the funeral were Jerry Torpi and Mrs. James Becka of Chicago, Ill., and Bill Torpi of Moline, Ill. Others attended from Utica, Lincoln, Omaha, Dwight, Bee, David City and Abie.
