Description	:	"Fern Cronkhite Dye, 75,105 Brown St., Williamsport, died at Country Care Nursing Center, Williamsport, at 4:40 a.m. March 1, 1995, where she had been a patient for six weeks. She was born Feb. 5, 1920, the daughter of Samuel and Cora Belle Kidwell Cronkhite. She was first married in 1936 to Robert Kirby. She later married Jack S. Dye, Dec. 12, 1979 in Frankfort, Ky. He drove the Alcoa bus for several years and preceded her in death in 1990. She had lived in Warren County most of her life and in Danville, Ill. for 14 years before moving to... She had lived in Warren County most of her life and in Danville, Ill. for 14 years before moving to Williamsport two years ago. She was an assembler for General Electric Co. and a homemaker. She attended the West Lebanon Christian Church. Surviving, are: two sons, Ronald L. Kirby, Williamsport; Robert L. Kirby, Texas Creek, Colo.; a daughter, Cheryl (Richard) Ballow, Williamsport; two brothers, Gene Cronkhite, Williamsport; Everett Cronkhite, West Lebanon; a sister, Genevieve Knowles, Attica; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Friends may call at Fisher Funeral Home, West Lebanon, after 5 p.m. today (Friday). Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Harvey Lange officiating. Burial will be in West Lebanon Cemetery." – Fountain County Neighbor, March 3, 1995
