Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 11th at 2:00 PM at the Endicott Seventh-day Adventist Church. Burial will follow at the Endicott Cemetery. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 11th at 2:00 PM at the Endicott Seventh-day Adventist Church. Burial will follow at the Endicott Cemetery. Fern was born July 5, 1922 at Fishtrap, WA. to James W. and Fila Ellis Jordan. She was raised and educated at Winona. She was married to Abe Leinweber of Endicott on July 27, 1939, and they continued to live and farm in the Endicott area. In 1974, following Abe's retirement, they moved to Moses Lake and in 1979 to Warden. Later they lived at Marine View Heights, rural Othello. After Abe's death in 1992 Fern moved back to Winona. Fern not only cared for her home and her family, but she kept busy at her jobs as well. She served as a Postmistress for Winona and when they moved to Moses Lake Fern worked for J.C. Penney, Schillberg Law Firm, and for many years she was the Lab Tech/Personnel Director for Sun Russet Potatoes, a frozen potato manufacturing company, where she was affectionately known as "gramma". Fern loved her Lord and Savior and was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Fern loved attending to her large yard and was an avid gardener, learning her green thumb from her father. Her many talents included sewing clothes and crocheting. She is survived by her son Ronald, Endicott, daughter Joan Schillberg, Winona, daughter and son-in-law Cheryl and Dave Gilman, Endicott, daughter and son-in-law Susan and Glenn Herman, Moses Lake; 21 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Daryl, a sister, Opal Simpson, two brothers, Alvin and Fred Jordan, her parents, a granddaughter, Dori Jo Edstrom and a son-in-law, Charles T. Schillberg.
