Description	:	Fern Olive Knipfer, daugher of Rudolph C. and Florence N. Knipfer, was born in English township, Iowa county, Iowa on Oct. 11 1920. She departed this life early, January 30, 1933, age 12 years, 3 months and 19 days. Fern and her brother were coasting a few rods south of their home. Her sled traveling at a high rate of speed upset and threw her against a post so violently that the large artery near the kidney was torn. Fern and her brother were coasting a few rods south of their home. All that loving hands could do to save her was done, but death outwitted the skill of man and claimed her body. And she went to be with him who said: "Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not; for of much is the kingdom of God."
