Description	:	Funeral services for Flora “Isabel” Zeller, 88, of Liberty, Mo., and former Aberdeen resident, were held Saturday, July 29, at 10 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Aberdeen with the Rev. Earl Butz officiating. Interment was in the Groton Union Cemetery. The organist was Jude Borgesen, and the soloist was Robert E. Olson. The ushers were Arthur Maynard and Neil Kleppin. Zeller, Jr., both of Kansas City, Mo. Flora Isabel Swearingen was born on December 11, 1889, to Robert and Jane Spencer Swearingen at Rockwell City, Iowa. She grew up and went to school at Groton. She was married to Leonard Frank Zeller on June 22, 1910, at Groton. They farmed until 1937 when they moved to Aberdeen where he was employed by the South Dakota State Highway Dept. and she by the First National Bank of Aberdeen. They celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary in 1966. Mr. Zeller died on may 15, 1967. She continued to make her home in Aberdeen. In 1974 she moved to Arlington, where she lived for a year. Then she moved to Dell Rapids to the Old Fellows Home and then to a rest home in Liberty, Mo. She died on July 25, 1978, at Liberty, Mo. She is survived by three sons: Kenneth Zeller of Kansas City, Mo.; Delbert Zeller of Arlington, Kan.; Harland Zeller of Merriam, Kansas. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one infant son, five brothers, and three sisters. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Aberdeen, a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Aberdeen, Rebecca and the Past _______, of Aberdeen.
