Description	:	Flora Jane (also called Florence) Howard was the daughter of Charles E Wiseman and Allie F Martin. In 1900 Florence was living with the family of George and Martha Reynolds. She was listed as a granddaughter. Martha Reynolds was her mother's sister so she would have been a niece. Her father (Charles) Edward was living in Coal Township with her brothers Harry and Edward. His marital status was divorced. Mother "Allie" was newly remarried. Florence married George (Henry) Ward on April 14, 1906. Sister Fidela married George's brother Charles the following year. George and Flora had two sons, Loren Albert born in 1907 and an unnamed stillborn born in 1909. In 1910 George, Flora and Loren (mistakenly identified as a daughter) were living in Jackson. George was working as a coal miner. George died on July 11, 1912 at Grant Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. The informant was Flora J. Ward of Springfield, Ohio. George's middle name was given as Harvey. He was a machinist. On March 26, 1914 Florence married Wilbur D Jenkins in Clark County. In 1920 Wilbur and Florence were living in Springfield, Ohio with daughter Mary Elizabeth, age 3. Wilbur was a merchant. Florence and Wilbur were divorced and Florence then married Lee Howard, a widower on April 1, 1924. In 1930 Lee and Florence were living in Springfield, Ohio. Lee was employed as a stationary engineer at The Clark County Childrens' Home. The family lived on the premises and included Florence's daughter Mary Elizbeth Jenkins, their daughter Helen Ailene, 2 and Florence's father Charles Wiseman. (Lee and family were living at The Childrens' Home as early as 1928 as that is the place of residence given on the death record of his mother Nancy Harrel Howard.) Following the death of Lee in 1938, Florence and daughter Helen were still residing in Springfield in 1940.
