Description	:	Flora Mae Faas died at Prescott, Arizona, on March 21, 1920, after a short illness from pneumonia, following an attack of influenza. The body was brought to Williamsburg, arriving here on Thursday, accompanied by the mother, and was at once taken to the old home in South Pilot. The funeral services were held at Pilot Grove church on Saturday and were conducted by the Rev. Mr. Cole of Osceola, formerly pastor at Pilot Grove. The funeral services were held at Pilot Grove church on Saturday and were conducted by the Rev. Mr. Cole of Osceola, formerly pastor at Pilot Grove. The services were attended by a large concourse of sorrowing relatives, friends and neighbors, and plainly visible were the evidences of sorrow over the passing of the lovely young life just as its lovely character was revealing its strength and beauty to the sun of a young womanhood so loved and admired by all. The interment was in the family lot in Pilot Grove cemetery beside the bodies of the father and two brothers who preceded the daughter and sister. Flora Mae Faas was barn in South Pilot July 24th, 1900; her parents were Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Faas, a prominent couple of Pilot, and she and a twin brother brought a double joy to the old home. In a few years she was a student at the Williamsburg high school, where ahe easily suatained the enviable record previoualy established by her older brothers and sister. The World War brought sadness to the Faaa home: Claude and, Byron died in the service of their country, Byron over-seas, and the widowed mother, now bearing a new and double bereavement, Bought temporary relief for her anguished heart by establishing a home with relatieves at Prescott, Aria. Here the subject of this sketch entered the high school and was scheduled to receive her diploma at the end of the present term. Here the dark shadow again entered the home, and the lovely young woman passed on to join the father and brothers who beckoned her from the far-off shore. Her death came as a crushing blow to the home in which she found so much happiness. She is mourned by her mother two brothers, Claire and Floyd, her twin, and three Bisters: Modena, Glenna and Ruth.
