She had been in failing health for some time. Born in Fulton county May 30, 1865, the daughter of the Rev. Edward J. and Mary Ann MOON DELP, she had spent almost her entire life in Fulton and Miami counties. She came to Rochester from Miami county in 1881 and was the last of a family of 12 children. Read More	Published in The Rochester News-Sentinel Friday, April 17, 1959 Flora May Delp Miss Flora May "Flo" DELP, 93, 1402 Main street, died about 11:15 o'clock this afternoon at Woodlawn hospital, where she had been taken Sunday after suffering a stroke. She had been in failing health for some time. Born in Fulton county May 30, 1865, the daughter of the Rev. Edward J. and Mary Ann MOON DELP, she had spent almost her entire life in Fulton and Miami counties. She came to Rochester from Miami county in 1881 and was the last of a family of 12 children. Miss Delp attended schools in the county and in Rochester, being graduated from Bryant and Stratton's business college in Chicago. She was employed in Chicago until returning to Rochester in 1893. A member of the First Baptist church here since 1882, she had been active in various phases of church work, particularly as a Sunday School teacher in the primary department. She was employed for many years here as a bank clerk. Surviving are several nieces and nephews as well as great-great-nieces and nephews. The body has been removed to the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home. Arrangements are incomplete. ----- Published in The Rochester News-Sentinel Saturday, April 18, 1959 Flora May Delp Funeral services for Miss Flora May "Flo" DELP, 93, 1402 Main street, who died about 1:15 p.m. Friday, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist church of which she had been a member since 1882. The Rev. James RHODES, pastor of the church, will be in charge and burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here. The body is at the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home here, where friends may call after 7 p.m. today. Any alumni of Rochester Normal university who wish to send flowers may contact Mrs. Ada SHERBONDY, 524 East Ninth street, who is secretary-treasurer of the R.N.U. alumni association.
