Description	:	Florence A. (Hebert) Sanguinette, 93, of 17 West St., Adams, died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004, at the Sweet Brook Care Center, Williamstown, where she had resided since May 1997. Born in Adams on Nov. 18, 1911, she was a daughter of Felix and Sarah (Mochon) Hebert. She was educated in Adams schools, attending the former Commercial Street Grammar School and was a graduate of the Adams High School, class of 1929. Born in Adams on Nov. 18, 1911, she was a daughter of Felix and Sarah (Mochon) Hebert. She was educated in Adams schools, attending the former Commercial Street Grammar School and was a graduate of the Adams High School, class of 1929. She first was employed with the former Bright Water Paper Corp. of Adams and then, with her husband, operated the Sanguinette Roofing Co. for many years. Her husband, Leon Sanguinette, whom she married July 29, 1930, in Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church, Adams, died in May 1989. She was a parishioner of the Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church and a member of its Ladies of St. Anne. She was an avid tennis player. She was a co-founder and charter member of the Adams Ambulance Service, which she supported many years with her husband. She was a member of "Who's Who of American Women," as the first woman roofer of record in the U.S. She leaves two nephews, Peter A. Coussoule of Adams, her caretaker, and John P. Coussoule of Windamere, Fla. A sister, Cesarina Coussoule, died Dec. 30, 1998. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A prayer service for Florecne Sanguinette will be held Thursday, Dec. 9, 9:15 a.m., at the McBride Funeral Home, Adams. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours at the funeral home are Thursday, 8:30 a.m. until the time of the prayer service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Adams Ambulance Service or the Notre Dame Church through the funeral home, 6 Liberty St., Adams, MA 01220.
