Hill, dean of theology at the college, where Miss Connell has been enrolled this past year. The bride wore a gown of Emporia blue flat- crepe, trimmed with shirring and a pink silk rose. The groom wore the regulation blue serge. To the strains of Lohengrin's "Bridal Chorus," played by Miss Esther Burgan, the couple took their places beneath an arch of pink and white. The white arch in front of them was trimmed with sweet peas and roses. After the ceremony light refreshments were served by Miss Frances Burgan and Miss Velma Cyr. Mrs. Ivey came to Miltonvale from Des Moines, Iowa, to take work at Miltonvale Wesleyan College. She is a graduate of Manchester, Iowa, high school. Following her graduation she taught school in her home state. Since coming to Miltonvale she has made a great number of friends through her helpfulness and cheerful disposition. Mr. Ivey is a well known road grader operator with the firm of Campbell & Lachenmaier, contractors.
