Description	:	YORK - Florence Carroll Kiser Smith, 84, died Friday, April 17, 2009, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill. Florence was born in York, on Nov. 4, 1924, to the late Ben and Aquilla Mullis Carroll. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 20, at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York. The Rev. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill. Florence was born in York, on Nov. 4, 1924, to the late Ben and Aquilla Mullis Carroll. She is survived by her two sons, Neal Kiser and his wife, Virginia Barton Kiser and Tommy Kiser and his wife, Laura Mabry Kiser, all of York; her one grandson, Andrew Kiser; and one surviving sister, Gladys Carroll Howell of Rock Hill, S.C. She was the widow of T.D. Kiser and Herman Smith. She attended and graduated from York public schools. She was a mother and homemaker and she worked at the former Huntley Mills of York. She was a former member of Beth Shiloh Presbyterian Church and Trinity United Methodist Church in York. She was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters. The family is truly grateful for the love and support given throughout the years by the Carroll, Kiser, Howell, Dickson, Glenn, Clinton and McDowell families; for the support of her dear friends at the Rock Hill Senior Center and for the love, care and concern of the wonderful people at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Community Care, P.O. Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29732. Bratton Funeral Home in York is serving the Smith family.
