Description	:	Florence Truax Funeral services for Florence Truax, 92, of Tucson Ariz., formerly of Neligh, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at the United Methodist Church in Neligh. The Rev. Carol James will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour before prior to the funeral, at the church. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery with Beyer Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Florence Honeywell, daughter of William and Clara (Bryant) Honeywell, was born December 4, 1908 at Bliss. She graduated from Ewing High School and atteded Wayne State Teachers Collegeafter which she taught school in Holt county. On May 13, 1931, she married Elmer Truax at Marysville, Kans. The couple lived in Neligh where Mr. Truax was in business for many years. Following the death of her husband, Mrs.Truax moved to Tucson to make her home with her daughter. She was a member of the United Methodist Church since 1923 and was active in the Neligh Senior Citizens program. Mrs. Truax died Sunday, June 3, at Odyssey Hospice in Tucson. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, a daughter and a grandson. Survivors include a daughter; Joyce Rice of Tucson; a sister, Iola Bowers of Oregon; a brother, Don Honeywell of Florida; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
