Description	:	Florence E. Bollinger, 93, died at 10 a.m. Nov. 20, 2007, at Heartland of Indian Lake, Lakeview. She was born July 27, 1914, in Lima to Harry J. and Agnes M. Burns Watt, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 7, 1940, she married R. Ladd Bollinger, who died June 28, 2000. Mrs. Bollinger was a homemaker. She was a member of the Lima Bowling Association, where she was an officer for 12 years, and was the association's representative at Westgate Lanes for 25 years. She was an avid bowler until she was 80 years old and had been a member of... Read More	Florence E. Bollinger, 93, died at 10 a.m. Nov. 20, 2007, at Heartland of Indian Lake, Lakeview. She was born July 27, 1914, in Lima to Harry J. and Agnes M. Burns Watt, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 7, 1940, she married R. Ladd Bollinger, who died June 28, 2000. Mrs. Bollinger was a homemaker. She was a member of the Lima Bowling Association, where she was an officer for 12 years, and was the association's representative at Westgate Lanes for 25 years. She was an avid bowler until she was 80 years old and had been a member of several area leagues for 44 years. In 1992, she was inducted into the Lima Bowling Hall of Fame. She was a self-taught organ and piano player, who had the unique talent of learning a piece by hearing just a few bars. She performed at several state bowling tournament dinners as well as at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home. Her grandchildren still remember sitting around the organ, while she played at family celebrations. She was a 1932 graduate of Lima South High School. She will be greatly missed by those who enjoyed her love of life and who loved her dearly. Survivors include five children, Nancy L. (John) Paul, of Lakeview, Thomas L. (Doreen) Bollinger, of Linden, Mich., Barbara A. (Jack) Naylor, of Wapakoneta, Jane B. Adams, of Tampa, Fla., and R. Michael (Dianna) Bollinger, of Lakeview; and eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Joey; and a brother, James H. Watt. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes, Shawnee Chapel. The Rev. Howard Allison will officiate. Burial will be in St. Matthew Cemetery, Lima. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or St. Rita's Hospice.
