Mrs Bowler ws the oldest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. C. E. Bromley, who, for nearly twenty years, have been residents of this city. Her life had been principly spent in this community, reared from a child among us, her every trait of charater has been known and watchedfirst from the bright, sweet child into womanhood, then the bride, the mother, the wife of culture and domestic worth; during all of which on every hand hasshe gained and held the esteem, the admiration and love of all. It is not wonder then that the sudden, untimely call fell heavy and sadly upon their hearts, and greatest, if possible, then any upon her bereaved husband, who will have the deepest sympathy of so many warm and tender hearts in his great sorrow. She leaves one bright and beautiful boy, Charles Ross, aged six years, who as of yet cannot realize the great sorrow and misfortune tha has fallen upon him. May God's watchful care and guidance ever direct his tender footsteps and keep her memory fresh in his, as a guard against wrong. Funeral serice for Mrs. Bowler oocurred Sunday afternoon at the Presbyterian Church and was lagely attended. The floral tribute was something unparalled in our city showing her tenderly and fervently her memory was guarded and would be preserved.
