Description	:	When Florence was born on July 3 1888 in the remote region of Ninga, near Boissivaine in Manitoba her family were considered pioneers as the area had yet to be developed. Florence was the eldest daughter of David and Eliza Jane Betson nee Kirstine. In about 1905 when Florence was 17 she stayed for the entire winter with her mother's family in Brant, Bruce County, Ontario, Canada as told by her Aunty Margaret's letter's to her sisters in New York. Florence married Angus McCullock of Nesbitt, 10 miles south of Brandon in 1910. Angus and Florence moved to Calgary where Angus worked with the Telephone Company. They had one daughter Ethel Violet McCullock who was born on the 15th of August 1911 in Calgary and died January 11, 1984. Florence left Angus McCullock in 1920 and in 1925 married James Blanchard in Brandon and moved to Boissevain in 1928 and passed away on the 2nd of February 1979 at the age of 91.
