Description	:	Aug 20, 1903: Florence Katherine Mikesell was born in Neodesha, KS Apr 6, 1876 and died at her home in Westphalia aug 16, age 27 y 4m 10d. At age 6 her family went to Oregon, her only brother died while en route, and the train stopped at a small station only long enough for her parents to bury their child. She married Frank Hall, of Carthage, MO in Jan 1898 a son was born to them and they divorced in 1900 She then married A.M. Brees in 1901. One child was born to them. She was taken sick Jan 23 and since has been unable to walk a step, only set up a few minutes at a time. Her funeral was preached by Rev. Atherton of M.E. Church and remains laid to rest in the cemetery south of town.
