Description	:	Mrs. Earl Dukek, 62, died Monday July 18, 1955, at 8:22 A.M., at her home on the Alburnett road, seven miles north of Marion, after a short illness. She was born, Florence Marguerite Goodrow, the daughter of Frank, and Emma Kuhn Goodrow, on October 14, 1892 at Fairfax. She came to Marion with her parents as a small girl, and attended the Marion schools. She was born, Florence Marguerite Goodrow, the daughter of Frank, and Emma Kuhn Goodrow, on October 14, 1892 at Fairfax. She was married to Mr. Dukek, on January 20, 1915, at Marion, and they had resided at their home north of Marion for 40 years. She was a member of the Alburnett Evangelical United Brethren Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters: Mrs. Harold Emagene) Krause, of Springville and Mrs. Everett Marjorie)Brunscheen, of Wyoming, Ia., one son, Donald Dukek of Marion; ten grandchildren and one foster son; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Bowman, of Marion, Mrs. D.A. McQueen, of Cedar Rapids, and Mrs. Alton Stanley, of Cedar Rapids; and one brother, Franklin Goodrow, of Marion. Her parents and one twin brother preceded her in death. Memorial services were conducted at the Murdoch Chapel in Marion, Wednesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Richard Gronowald, of Wyoming, Ia. Burial was in Cedar Memorial park, at Cedar Rapids. Bearers were Albert Aller, Lester Hindman, Paul Hickman, James Wilt, Glenn Dahms and Alfred Rinderknecht. Music was furnished by Mrs. L.B. DeWees. ~The Marion Sentinel Thursday July 31, 1955
