(Hoff) Rosenberry on Friday June 18, 1915 at Clarkson, Colfax County Nebraska. Florence was the youngest of seven siblings. (Hoff) Rosenberry on Friday June 18, 1915 at Clarkson, Colfax County Nebraska. Florence was the youngest of seven siblings. Florence's mother passed when she was a year and half old, her father remarried Ola McDade (step mother). Florence was raised on a rural Clarkson farm for thirteen years of her life and then moved to a rural Leigh, Colfax County farm living there for three years. Florence moved to the rural area of Omaha, Douglas County for a year and half, then she moved to Cedar Falls, Black Hawk County Iowa. In 1932 Florence was united in marriage to James Seigfreid, they were blessed with two children, a son and a daughter. Sadly James passed on Saturday February 1, 1936 at Waterloo, Black Hawk County Iowa at the age of 51 years. Florence returned to Clarkson in 1937 and then moved to Fremont, Dodge County in 1939. Florence was united in marriage to Warren Conklin on Wednesday October 1, 1941 at David City, Butler County, they were blessed with fraternal twin boys. The couple moved to a farmette southwest of Cedar Bluffs, Saunders in 1942, I recall playing in a torn down building basement that was just east of their house, there were many loose red bricks piled everywhere. Florence and Warren were members of St. Matthew Lutheran Church while living at Cedar Bluffs. They then moved to a house near the Fremont, Dodge County downtown area in 1961. I recall Florence preparing many goulash meals for my folks and me when we came to Fremont to do our shopping. I recall painting the exterior of the Conklin's house in the early sixties. Sadly Warren passed away on Wednesday January 19, 1966. Florence then was united in marriage to Roy Mason on Friday September 22, 1967 at Kearney, Buffalo County, they lived on a farmette close to Silver Creek, Merrick County, I visited them once there. Sadly Roy passed away on Monday June 28, 1980. Florence eventually moved back to the Fremont area living in a condo close to the hospital area. Sadly Florence passed on Monday April 2, 2012 at Nye Legacy at Fremont at the age of 96 years, 9 months, 15 days which does not include her last day, she lived a total of 35,353 days. Florence was a member of the First Lutheran Church at Fremont, her memorial service was held there with the Rev. Matt Knopf officiating. Florence was cremated, her ashes interred in an urn on the top of her second husband Warren's grave. Florence's grave marker has her last name as Conklin, her legal last name when she passed was Mason. Moser Memorial Chapel Fremont was in charge of her arrangements. Florence's information was provided from researching many resources and my memory. This biography was created as an honor to Florence by her nephew Loren R.
