Description	:	Florence “Flo“ Guffey, age 90, of Windfall, Indiana passed away on Sunday October 4, 2015 at her home. She was born on March 1, 1925 in Rockville, Pennsylvania to John and Laura (Meas) Beers. Flo married Frank Guffey on January 6, 1945 and he later passed away on November 9, 1988. Flo was a member of the V.F.W. and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles both in Kokomo . She was a member and very active in the Kokomo Senior Center in Kokomo where she enjoyed visiting daily and playing Bingo. Flo also spent much of her free time crocheting, playing... Read More	Florence “Flo“ Guffey, age 90, of Windfall, Indiana passed away on Sunday October 4, 2015 at her home. She was born on March 1, 1925 in Rockville, Pennsylvania to John and Laura (Meas) Beers. Flo married Frank Guffey on January 6, 1945 and he later passed away on November 9, 1988. Flo was a member of the V.F.W. and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles both in Kokomo . She was a member and very active in the Kokomo Senior Center in Kokomo where she enjoyed visiting daily and playing Bingo. Flo also spent much of her free time crocheting, playing Euchre, and cooking meals for the family get togethers. She is survived by her children; Joann (Wayne) Booher of Windfall, Juanita (Bill) Schikora of Montana, Bonnie Roberts of Kokomo, Dotty (Wayne) Savage of Tennessee, Becky (Larry) Dulworth of Windfall, Rebecca Hahn of Kokomo, Frank Edward (Edna) Guffey of Windfall, Minnie Hendrix of Kokomo and Laura (Charlie) Clouser of Elwood along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Surviving siblings include a brother Richard Beers of Pennsylvania and two sister in laws Sue King and Bonnie Carter. Flo was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank, two sons and two daughters. Funeral Services will be Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Porter Funeral Home located at 726 East North Street in Tipton with Pastor James Sharber officiating. Visitation will be held the same day October 8, 2015 from 12 PM to 2 PM. Interment will follow services in Brookside Cemetery.
