Description	:	Florence M. "Toddi" Legg of Laurel, Delaware died on April 10, 2005 in New Castle, Delaware. She was 73. Born in Chestertown, Maryland on April 1, 1932, she was the daughter of the late, John Vincent and Grace Gears Mench. She was a graduate of Chestertown High School and in 1951 married Arthur K. "A.K." Legg. They resided in Chestertown where she worked as a nurse's aid with Chester River Hospital Center until 1968 when they moved to Wilmington, Delaware. Born in Chestertown, Maryland on April 1, 1932, she was the daughter of the late, John Vincent and Grace Gears Mench. She was a graduate of Chestertown High School and in 1951 married Arthur K. "A.K." Legg. They resided in Chestertown where she worked as a nurse's aid with Chester River Hospital Center until 1968 when they moved to Wilmington, Delaware. While in Wilmington, Mrs. Legg worked with St. Francis Hospital as a nurse's aid and later as a private duty child care provider. Following Mr. Legg's retirement in 1994 they moved to Lewes, Delaware. Mrs. Legg loved needlework, crafting, gardening, and was an avid Jeff Gordon and Baltimore Orioles Fan. Some of the best times of her life were spent with her husband walking and fishing off of Hoss's Pier in Lewes, Delaware. She was predeceased by her husband in 2001. Mrs. Legg is survived by a son, Arthur K. Legg III and his wife, Candy of Newark, Delaware; two daughters, Terry L. Feret and her husband, Tom of Laurel, Delaware and Ellen L. Faries and her husband, Dave of Middletown, Delaware; a sister, Frances Welch of Centreville, Maryland; five grandchildren, Kim, Tom Jr., Tim, Tiffany, and D.K. and three great grandchildren, Zander, Tiffany, and William. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, P.A., 130 Speer Road, Chestertown, Maryland. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Chester Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 207 East Market Street, Salisbury, Maryland 21801.
