Hospital at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 1963 and took to her eternal rest Florence Rebecca, widow of the late Charles Falcon Bolivar, 229 Aberdeen Road, Bridgewater, at the age of 78 years, 10 months and 13 days. After an illness of only two months her passing came as a severe shock to her family and friends. Born at New Elm, Lunenburg County, April 12, 1884, she was the only daughter of the late Edward and Watee (Fancy) Mosher. Surviving to mourn the loss of a loving mother, sister, and grandmother are two daughters, Izora (Mrs. Edmund Henley, Newtonville, Mass) and Signie (Mrs. Oran Bolivar at home) who tenderly cared for her until her last few weeks when she was a patient at the D.M. Hospital, and the V.G. Hospital Halifax; also a son Livingstone at Baker's Settlement. Her husband predeceased her on June 9, 1953. Also surviving are two aged brothers, Joseph L. at Everett, Washinton; and Robie at New Elm; nine grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. A brother Stephen predeceased her forty-six years ago and another brother in infancy. she was of a very loving and generous disposition never failing to do her utmost to come to the aid of those in need, and will be greatly missed by her family as well as by a host of friends. She spent most of her life caring for sick and afflicted in various parts of Lunenburg and Queens counties as well as a few years in the United States. She was a devout member of the United Church of Canada and was a faithful supporter of same. The funeral service was held from the Bridgewater United Church on Thursday, February 28, 1963, at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Donald C. MacMahon officiating. Pall bearers were Walter Henley, Borden Henley, Orace Heim, Frank Carver, Russell Woodworth and George Wessell. Interment was in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Kathy Garber
