JAMES RUBLE Last Rites Are Held Tuesday for Esteemed Woman in Le Mars Death claimed Mrs. Florence Ruble, 73, wife of James Ruble of Le Mars, Saturday night, following an illness of eleven days from paralysis. She had enjoyed fairly good health until suffering a stroke, from which she never rallied. Florence Robinson was born at Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England, June 21, 1862, and when a girl of eighteen came to America with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Robinson, who located near Springfield, Ill. After living there a short time they came to Plymouth county and farmed east of Akron for a number of years, finally retiring and moving to town, residing here until their death. Mr. Robinson was an ordained Methodist minister. When a young woman she was united in marriage with H. Cooney, and they resided near Chatsworth for a number of years and later in Akron. Twenty-nine years ago she was married to James Ruble, and they farmed in the west part of the county for some time and then moved to Le Mars about twenty years ago. Mrs. Ruble was a member of the Methodist church, active in its work and that of kindred societies. She was also a member of the Women's Relief Corps and the Spanish-American War Veterans' Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, James Ruble;four daughters, Mrs. John Martin and Mrs. John Love, of Bellflower, Calif.; Mrs. John Thor, of Karinen, S. D., and Mrs. Chas. E. Crews, of Chicago; one son, Lawrence Cooney, of Bellflower, Calif.. Mrs. Ruble was a devoted wife and mother and highly esteemed in a wide circle of friends and acquaintances, who tender their sympathy to the bereaved relatives. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Methodist church at Le Mars, conducted by Rev. J. R. Tumbleson. Interment was in the city cemetery there.
