Florence was born November 1, 1915, in Peru, Iowa, the daughter of William & Lucy (Pace) Pace. She married Raymond Lee Truesdell May 25, 1941, in Dunkerton, Iowa. He preceded her in death January 30, 1979. Florence graduated from Weldon High School and Iowa State Teachers College. She taught school, was a professional seamstress and wedding coordinator. Florence was born November 1, 1915, in Peru, Iowa, the daughter of William & Lucy (Pace) Pace. She married Raymond Lee Truesdell May 25, 1941, in Dunkerton, Iowa. He preceded her in death January 30, 1979. Florence graduated from Weldon High School and Iowa State Teachers College. She taught school, was a professional seamstress and wedding coordinator. Her memberships include Cedar Heights Community Presbyterian Church, Cedar Heights Woman’s Club, Order of the Eastern Star, the Cedar Falls Historical Society, Cedar Falls Garden Club, PEO, and was a Girl Scout Leader. Survivors include four daughters, Patricia (Don) Kunkler, of Grants Pass, Oregon, Pamela Truesdell, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Penny (Dean) Becker, of New Hartford, Iowa and Kim (Rusty) Caruthers, of Mesa, Arizona; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Florence was preceded in death by her parents, husband; four brothers, Robert, Winston, George and Pat Pace, and a sister, Mary Wolf. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 5, 2013, at Cedar Heights Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be from 4 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and one hour before service time at the church.
