She attended the Wisner Public Schools and Norfolk College of Business. She worked for a time as bookkeeper for Albers Motor Company and also for the Koerber and Johnson Cafes, all of Wisner. She married John R. Koerber of Wisner in 1924. They lived most of their married life in Wisner. She worked for a number of years in the cleaning business, first for F. R. Marshall and later for Walter Hansen. Mr. Koerber died Aug. 21, 1950. She married Halbert H. Hall in 1952. In 1957, after living in Chicago for several years, they moved to San Diego, CA. He died there Dec. 29, 1983. Florence then moved to a retirement home in the Oxnard, CA vicinity, near her son. She moved to a nursing home in Oxnard several years ago and died there Dec. 25, 1990. She is survived by her son Thomas J. Koerber of 1110 S. Cadiz Ct., Oxnard, CA 93035; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters, Mrs. Ivy Buchanan of Seward and Mrs. Alice Anderson of Grand Island. Memorial services for Florence V Koerber Hall, 88, of Oxnard, CA. will be held Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 1:30 p.m. at Kuzelka Funeral Home in Wisner. Father Daniel Kampschneider will officiate with burial of ashes in St. Joseph Cemetery.
