She was born in Berlin on June 28, 1924, the daughter of Emile and Dora (Dubois) Frechette. She attended St. Regis and Berlin High School and was a lifetime resident of the area. She worked in Bridgeport, Conn., and at First National Store in Berlin. She was a communicant of the former St. Joseph Parish, now known as Good Shepherd Parish, and was active in the Coos County Historical Society. She was a member of the Golden Age Club and had volunteered for many years at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital and Coos County Nursing Home. She enjoyed family vacations at Hampton Beach. She wintered in Florida for several years. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed sketching as a pastime. Her greatest love was for her family. She loved time spent with her children and grandchildren and had a great affection for her cats. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Huot Sr., on Nov. 29, 1999. Family members include three sons, Donald Huot, Richard Huot and Robert Huot Jr., all of Berlin; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours are Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High St., Berlin. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, 345 Pleasant St., Berlin with the Rev. Richard Roberge officiating. Interment will follow in St. Kieran Cemetery, Hutchins St., Berlin.
