Read More	“The Herald” (Piedmont, W.Va.), Thursday 24 January 1957: Florian Anderson Patrick, 64, formerly of Westernport, died Tuesday morning at his home in Kansas City, Missouri. A native of Westernport, Mr. Patrick was a son of the late M. Anderson and Jessie (Grayson) Patrick. After attending Westernport High School and Randolph-Macon academy, Front Royal, Va., he engaged in the garage business in Westernport and later in Front Foyal. During World War I, he worked for the Glenn L. Martin Company in Baltimore and afterward for Trans World Airlines in Wilmington, Del. Ten years ago he transferred to the TWA base at Kansas City. In ill health since last spring, he had been seriously ill since last September, when he underwent an operation. The body will arrive here tomorrow morning and be taken to the Boal Funeral Home where the service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. The Rev. L. E. Crowson, pastor of Trinity Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport. The family requests that flowers be omitted and contributions be given to the Cancer fund. Survivors include three brothers, Julian G. Patrick, Westernport; Forest Patrick, Walla Walla, Washington; Charles Patrick, Luke, and one sister, Mrs. Walter Root, Westernport; two daughters, Mrs. Harry Haupt, Palmerton, Pa., and Mrs. John Bartlett, Piedmont; two grandchildren, James Haupt, of Palmerton, and Jean Patrick, of Keyser.
