Born December 1, 1933, in Cherokee County; daughter of the late Broadus James Maynor and Ethel Byars Maynor; first married to the late Leonard Lyle Wall and second to the late Robert Padgett. A former employee with Reeves Brothers Mill and later with Cash and Henderson Drug Store; a member of Chesnee First Baptist Church and the Frances Finger Sunday School Class. Survivors include her sons, Benny Wall (Kayron) and David Wall; daughter, Linda Wall Wood (Doug); sisters, Vonnie Maynor Jewell and Venetta Maynor Lee; grandchildren, Kara Wall Brill (Les), Clayton Wall (Tonya), Justin Wood (LeighAnn) and Beth Wood Hickman (Hamilton); great-grandchildren, Landon, Kyndall, Coy, Cade, and Landon; and many nieces and nephews. Also predeceased by sisters, Betty Maynor Vaughn (1931–1987) and Rebecca Frances Maynor Martin (1932–2018). Graveside services were held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 15, 2020, at Springhill Memorial Gardens with Dr. Greg Mathis and Dr. Gary J. Grogan officiating.
