Read More	Floyd Arthur Spence September 23, 1936 - September 25, 2021 Clover, S.C. - Floyd Arthur Spence, 85, Clover, S.C. passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at his residence with his children by his side. Born in Clayton, N.C., he was the husband of Nancy Guyton Spence and the son of the late Arthur Benjamin Spence and Mary Elizabeth Lee Spence. He was a United States Army Veteran, where he served as a Green Beret in the Special Forces. He was retired from United States Military and Duke Power. Mr. Spence was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are two sons, Tony Spence and Thomas Arthur Spence; two daughters, Roberta Lynn Spence and Carolyn Angel Spence; a brother, Wayne Spence of N.C.; two sisters, Lena Whidby and Linda Diane Acres; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Spence was preceded in death by three sisters, Faye, Margaret and Barbara; two brothers, J. P. and Donald; and by his children's mother, Carol Ann Weeks Spence. Cryptside services with military honors will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Frederick Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery. The family will be at their respective homes.
