Description	:	Services for Floyd C. Weaver, 78, Winnetoon, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday (today) at the Center Congregational Church. The Rev. Olin Belt will officiate with burial in the Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers are Charles Kienow, Murray Jensen, Richard Bloomquist, Loren Kienow, Delmar Andersen and Rodney Bloomquist. The son of Clyde and Bessie Laughlin Weaver, he was born August 24, 1903 at Sutherland and died Sunday at a Norfolk hospital following a short illness. Mr. Weaver spent the first five years of his married life as a cashier at the McLean State Bank. The couple then moved to Center where he operated a grocery store for 23 years. The Weavers then moved to Winnetoon where he was employed by the Winnetoon Cooperative Credit Association for 22 years. During that time, he also served on the town board, retiring in 1976. Mr. Weaver was a member of the Center Congregational Church. The couple observed their fiftieth wedding anniversary this year. Survivors include his wife; one son, Milford of Norfolk; one grandson, Dennis of Kearney; three step grandchildren, Betty Speidel of Norfolk, Dale Bain of Overland Park, Kan. and Roger Bain of Mankato, Minn.; two sisters, Helen Schmitteckert of California and Alice Reynolds of Stone Mountain, Ga. and two brothers, Maynard of Omaha and Raymond of Norfolk.
