Mr. Neptune was born Oct. 14, 1910, at Huscher. He farmed in the Clyde and Concordia area most of his life and was a member of First Christian Church, Concordia. His wife, Ruby Viola, died on Feb. 10, 2001. Survivors include a son, Steven of Great Bend; a daughter, Eva Riggs of Fosston, Minn.; two sisters, Sylvia Huber of McPherson and Ina Mae Parratt of Hastings, Neb.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
