(Bliven) Arzamarski went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 27, 2012. He was born in Westerly, Rhode Island, on December 7, 1920, the son of Harvey and Emma Sarah (Brown) Arzamarski. Arzamarski, 91, of 181 Pendleton Hill Road, North Stonington, beloved husband of Beth L. (Bliven) Arzamarski went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 27, 2012. He was born in Westerly, Rhode Island, on December 7, 1920, the son of Harvey and Emma Sarah (Brown) Arzamarski. He married Beth L. Bliven on December 13, 1946 in Westerly, Rhode Island. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Peter E. Arzamarski and his wife Dorothy, of North Stonington, and his daughter Cathy A. Johnson and her husband Bob also of North Stonington. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Stacey, Lorrie (husband Frederick), Kim, Matt, Zach, Robert (wife Angelica), Marshall, Melissa, and Andrew Jr (wife Analyn); 5 great-grandchildren: Trevor, Lily, Derek, Andrew, and Wesley; several nieces and nephews; and predeceased by a son Andrew (Panda) and a grandson Ryan. Floyd attended the University of Connecticut for Agriculture where he was an avid fan of the women's basketball team, prior to enlisting in the Army Air Corp during World War II where he served 4 years. In 1978, he was among those who founded the North Stonington Bible Church where he served as a deacon and then an elder. Floyd was a long-time school bus driver for the North Stonington School District. He enjoyed farming and could always been found out in his garden. He was also an avid Boston Red Sox fan. There will be a Memorial Service Saturday May 5, 2012 at the North Stonington Bible Church at 11:00 AM, reception to follow. Funeral services are under the direction of Rushlow-Iacoi Funeral Home & Crematory, 64 Friendship Street, Westerly, RI 02891. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the North Stonington Bible Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 28, North Stonington, CT 06359. The burial will be at the convenience of the family.
