Description	:	Floyd E. Williams, 92, died November 21, 2015 at the Hospice House Williamsburg. Floyd was a Gloucester native, one of thirteen children of the late Eva Virginia and James Larry Williams. Floyd served his country in the U S Army during WWII, and also served under George S. Patton, who led the successful sweep across France. Floyd retired from the York County Sheriff's Department after many years of service. He was a member of the Achilles Mason Lodge No. 281 AF & AM. He is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends. Graveside funeral service officiated by Reverend Arthur L. Wolz, Jr. will be held 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Gloucester Point Cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery. A visitation will be from 7 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. In memory of Floyd memorial donations may be given to Hospice House of Williamsburg, 4445 Powhatan Parkway, Williamsburg, VA 23188 or Riverside Walter Reed Hospice, 7358 Main Street, Gloucester, VA 23061.
